Description: Dummies for Dummies
Award-winning children’s book illustrator and author Pat Cummings will conduct this daylong, informal workshop. She will give attendees the inside scoop on how to get a picture book dummy—its illustrations, and if applicable, its text—ready for submission. Participants are encouraged to bring a dummy they are working on, but members are also welcome to just come, observe, and learn. Space is limited. Advance registration is required. Flyers will be mailed to all regional members this spring. If you have any questions about preparing your dummy to bring to the workshop, contact Joan Waites at jwstudio@msn.comhttp://www.joanwaites.com/
